If music, culture and food are what you’re in search of, Pittsburgh can delivered. Home to some of the best country bars in the region, Pittsburgh has a select few from which to choose. Below you’ll find four of the best country bars in the area, but try them all and then go in search of your own. Who knows, maybe you can contribute to the next “best of” list with your own personal recommendation – yeehaw!

The Rowdy Buck
1325 E. Carson St.
Pittsburgh, PA 15203
(412) 431-2825
www.rowdybuck.com

Not your typical “pop country” bar, this eclectic, lodge-type establishment has enough kitsch and comfort to keep you coming back for more. The prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is welcoming (thanks, in large part, to the super friendly staff) and the music is just the right blend of top 40 country and old, moody Johnny Cash. One of the newest additions to the South Side, The Rowdy Buck still has a few kinks to work out, but given time, this should become one of the first places the ‘country set’ will endeavor to visit.
