If you've been planning your Halloween costume since January, there's no doubt you've also been in search of an awesome Halloween party where you can show it off, enjoy some Halloween treats and maybe even spook your friends. Pittsburgh has no shortage of ghoulish Halloween parties thanks to its variety of bars, nightclubs and unique locations that appeal to trick-or-treaters of all ages. Grab your mask, your trick-or-treat bag and get ready to celebrate Halloween at these fun Pittsburgh parties.

PubCrawls.com, the producers of the world's largest pub crawl, is bringing some of the best drink specials to Pittsburgh with its annual Halloween Pub Crawl Pittsburgh. For a truly unique Halloween party, set sail on the city's three rivers aboard the iconic Gateway Clipper for its annual Halloween Monster Party. This family friendly cruise features a kids' costume party with plenty of frightfully friendly characters, Halloween treat bags, giveaways and raffles for children to win a variety of prizes. The Gateway Clipper sets sail Oct. 27 with two available cruise times. Reservations are required.

Since the launch of its annual Halloween party in 2009, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh's Big Chemistry Halloween bash has grown into one of the most popular Halloween parties in the area. Last year's celebration raised nearly $4,500 and drew more than 300 guests for an evening of dancing, drinks and appetizers. This year promises even more ghoulish fun when the bash moves to Altar Bar. Big Chemistry Halloween Bash is hosted by Big Brothers Big Sister's Young Professional Outreach Board. Guests must be at least 21 years old to attend.

For the most rocking Halloween bash, check out the Howlers Coyote Cafe's Halloween Party featuring live music from The Dirty Charms, Clashing Plaid and Bessmers. If you like supporting Pittsburgh's local musicians, then you will have a blast getting in the Halloween spirit to the sounds of bands from the South Side's The Dirty Charms and Philadelphia's Clashing Plaid. Partygoers must be at least 21 years old to attend.
