From family-friendly festivities to adults-only beer bashes, there is no shortage of places to party this St. Paddy's Day. The annual St. Patrick's Day parade is perhaps the biggest Irish celebration in the city. The parade kicks off at 10 a.m. with what is the second-largest St. Patrick's Day parade in the country. Experience the beauty and joy of Irish culture with a stunning display of marching bands, Irish-themed floats, Irish groups, Miss Smiling Irish eyes and more. This year's parade is sponsored by The Irish Society for Education & Charity, Inc. in conjunction with the Pittsburgh St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee.

Celebrate the history of the city's iconic Irish boxing background at the second annual Donnybrook. Pittsburgh's top-rated amateur boxers will join Dublin, Ireland's best fighters at the Priory's Grand Hall on St. Patrick's Day for a sure-to-sell-out event. Cheer on Team Ireland or Team Pittsburgh in a fight for the Ambassador's Cup trophy. The 2015 Pittsburgh Donnybrook benefits local community programs, including The Western Pennsylvania Police Athletic League, the Ireland Institute of Pittsburgh and the Hibernian Celtic Athletic Fund, all of whom are responsible for helping bring these two teams together.

For many, St. Patrick's Day is all about keeping the green beer flowing. What better way to drink away the day than by starting the festivities at Buckhead Saloon's Kegs N Eggs event? This annual party begins at 8 a.m. with a breakfast buffet until 10 a.m. paired with an open bar featuring Guinness, domestic drafts and well drinks. After that, the bar will offer $3 green Miller Lite drafts all day long along with giveaways and fun games. Dirty Fingers and DJ Fierce will provide all the live entertainment you can hope for.
