On Valentine's Day you have your choice of romantic, funny and energetic shows to see. On Valentine's Day the Pittsburgh Ballet Theater will be performing Peter Pan at the Benedum Center. This exciting and timeless story will take you from the forests of Neverland to the decks of the Jolly Roger pirate ship. Watch beautiful choreography by Jorden Morris and the fantastic aerial acrobatics of this talented ballet company. Both afternoon and evening performances are available on Feb. 14.

If you are in the mood for an evening of retro style, get some tickets to see Guys & Dolls at the O'Reilly Theater. This classic, high rolling musical features a fast moving score full of singing, dancing, comedy and romance. This show's got something for everyone. This production has outstanding performances from stars Sky Masterson and Nathan Detroit. Tickets are available for both afternoon and evening performances running through the month of February.

What could be more romantic than an evening of beautiful music? Just for Valentine's Day weekend, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra will be performing pieces from romantic favorites from the classical era. Slovakian conductor Juraj Vakuha will take the audience through the music of Tchaikovsky's Romeo and Juliet, Dvorak's Cello Concerto and Bizet's Carmen among other pieces. Tickets are available for an evening performance on February 12th and an afternoon performance on Valentine's Day.

This stage musical adaptation of the popular movie follows a talented kid from Brooklyn who attempts to escape his boring life through dance.
