Best Veteran's Day Drink Specials In Pittsburgh

Veteran's Day is Wednesday, November 11th. In order to thank the members past and present of our armed forces, many government offices are closed, which can mean an extra day off. The perfect way to spend your day (or evening) is with your favorite veteran. Take them out for a drink and a round of appetizers to thank them for their service. If you are looking for a great place to go, here are some places with great Wednesday specials for you and the veterans in your life to enjoy.

Located in the South Side, Thirteen Eleven is a great bar for hanging out and making small talk with friends and strangers alike. The bar offers a wide selection of bottled beers, and every Wednesday you can enjoy $1.00 bottles of Yuengling Lager all day. They also offer a simple menu of bar favorites including appetizers, soups, salads and sandwiches. If you're making a night of it, Thirteen Eleven also offers $5 pitchers of flavored Smirnoff from 10pm-midnight. Cain's Saloon in Dormont is a great place to enjoy a lunch or dinner and some drinks. On Wednesdays, you can enjoy $2.50 Miller Light all day plus $1 off all drinks and drafts 5pm-7pm. If you arrive during happy hour, select appetizers are half off in the bar room. After that, wings are just 35 cents and come in 24 flavors from 7pm until midnight.
