Can you feel it? Daylight savings time has sprung our clocks ahead and the first bits of Spring are starting to emerge! On this week's Free & Affordable Pittsburgh segment on Pittsburgh Today Live, we're talking about family-friendly St. Patrick's Day fun, free Children's Museum admission, and free Italian ice to celebrate the first day of spring! After the 2nd largest St. Patrick's Day Parade in the world (yep, it's in Downtown Pittsburgh) you can bring the family to Fifth Avenue Place with an afternoon of activities. They'll have face painting, irish-themed crafts with the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh, live music and games. Best of all, it's free for your family to enjoy!

It's sometimes referred to as Sweater Day, Or Mister Rogers Day, or Won't You Be My Neighbor Day - but whatever you call it, it's a celebration of Mr. Rogers' life and neighborliness. In honor of Mister Rogers' birthday, the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh is offering free admission on Tuesday, March 20th. Wear your favorite sweater and celebrate! You can even meet Mr. McFeeley from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. One adult is required to accompany every five children. Parking is not included.
