Start your morning off by taking a journey down to the Pennsylvania State Park of Ohiopyle. Approximately 1.5 hours outside of Pittsburgh, the national park offers several activities including rafting, biking and over 80 miles of hiking. Start with the Baughman Trail running 3.5 miles long, it is one of the most challenging in the park. With steep rocky paths that overlook the Youghiogheny River, the footpath offers spectacular views culminating at the Baughman Rock, which features a picturesque outlook of the Youghiogheny Gorge. Next, take the Sugarloaf Trail that runs approximately 4 miles along the same river. This is also a very difficult path that reaches 800 feet in elevation over two peaks of mountain terrain. These steep inclines will challenge your crew, but for the most part you are able to enjoy yourself at a leisurely pace. Make sure to bring a packed lunch and plenty of liquids; November only requires a light jacket as you will work up a good sweat.
