Hofbrauhaus has only 2 locations in the United States and Pittsburgh is lucky enough to house one of them. This authentic German Beer Hall is great fun for the whole family. Head on over before Thanksgiving and sample some delicious German brews and snacks. Take your pick from the laid back dining tables, to the raucous beer hall, or chill out in the outdoor beer garden overlooking the river. The real fun to be had is in the beer hall, which consists of live music and long communal tables. Hofbrauhaus is a great place to bring your family, sing along and make new friends.

Another great place to celebrate Thanksgiving eve with the family is Burgatory. Hidden away, tucked in the corner of the Waterworks strip mall, lies this heavenly gem. Burgatory not only has fantastic burgers and other fare, but its drinks are downright delicious. The drink menu consists of spiked milkshakes, great cocktails, a rotating list of beer taps (mostly micros) and an extensive bottle selection. Be sure to try the Apple Pancakes and Bacon shake spiked with apple and caramel vodka, you get a big bite of bacon in every sip. Yummy!!! If you plan to bring along the minors, they have many virgin milkshakes to keep them happy. This place is bound to wet the appetite and keep everyone happy before the holiday.

NPL Clubhouse is like Dave and Busters with a more laid-back neighborhood feel. This is the perfect place to have a fun night out with your family. You can eat, drink, watch the game, or play your own games at this all in one entertainment facility. Keep the kids busy with pinball, skee ball and everything else you find in a normal arcade. This place doubles as a sports bar, so dad can watch all the sports games that his heart desires. There are even events for grandma, as on select nights you will find BINGO! This place truly is entertainment for all.
