Duquesne To Renovate A.J. Palumbo Ctr. Locker Rooms

Pittsburgh (KDKA/AP) - The basketball and volleyball locker rooms for the Duquesne Dukes will be receiving a $1.3 million upgrade.

The improvements are the second phase of renovations for the A.J. Palumbo Center.

The first phase was a $1.8 million renovation that included the installation of additional chairback seats, a new center-court video scoreboard and four lower-level scoreboards.

After the renovations to the locker room, which begin in April, a redesign of the arena's lower corridor is planned. The lower corridor will be funded by private donations and named the Janice and James Schaming Athletic Center.
