Browns' RB Hillis Misses 2nd Straight Practice

Pittsburgh (KDKA/AP) - The Cleveland Browns might be missing one of their key players on offense come Sunday against the Steelers. Running back Peyton Hillis missed his second straight day of practice.

Hillis injured his ribs in last week's loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

Hillis has rushed for 1,164 yards this season on 264 carries and scored 11 touchdowns. He has been one of the few bright spots for Eric Mangini and the 5-10 Browns.

Mangini believes Hillis will be ready to play this week against Pittsburgh in the Browns final game of the season.

If Hillis can't go, Mike Bell will get the bulk of carries. Bell, acquired in an October trade from Philadelphia, gained a season-high 27 yards last week.

Last year, the Browns beat the Steelers in Cleveland to prevent the Steelers from going to the playoffs.

This year, the Browns won't be able to prevent them from getting into the playoffs, but they could take away a first-round bye with a win.
