Cause Of Ligonier Baby's Death Pending Toxicology Tests
LIGONIER (KDKA) -- The investigation continues into the death of a nearly 8-month-old baby boy in Westmoreland County.
Emergency responders found Seth Bennett dead on the couch of his Ligonier Township mobile home Wednesday morning.
According to a search warrant, the child's father initially found he wasn't breathing around 10 a.m. in his crib, but didn't call 911 until noon when the child's mother came home.
Investigators filed for a search warrant under suspicion of criminal homicide.
They found drug paraphernalia inside of the home.
An autopsy ruled the cause and manner of the child's death pending the results of toxicology tests.
The coroner's office says there were no physical signs of trauma or foul play.
