Analyst: 18 Game Schedule Is Negotiable
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) CBSSports.com senior NFL writer Clark Judge joined the FAN Morning Show to offer an update on the collective bargaining talks between the league and the owners.
Judge is expecting a lockout come March 4, but he doesn't necessarily think games will be missed.
Throughout this process, Commissioner Roger Goodell has continually said the league wants to expand the regular season to 18 games. Judge spoke with the league's lead negotiator Jeff Pash at the Super Bowl and he said the 18-game schedule is definitely negotiable.
If the NFL has a work stoppage and misses games, Judge doesn't think the league will lose many fans because the game is to popular.
