PITTSBURGH (NEWSRADIO 1020 KDKA) — The triple whammy disaster in Japan continues as workers frantically attempt to stabilize several nuclear reactors.
The situation at the Fukushima plant is being compared to the Three Mile Island plant disaster.
Larry and John talk to KDKA afternoon talk host Mike Pintek, who broke the Three Mile Island story on March 28, 1979, and followed it through its fruition. He talks about the comparisons to today’s disaster, and what lessons we can learn from the past.
