North Shore Bank Robber Sought
NORTH SHORE (KDKA) -- Pittsburgh police are looking for a bank robber who claimed he was wearing explosives.
The man robbed the PNC Bank at PNC Park on the North Shore in the 100-block of Federal Street around 3:15 p.m.
According to Zone 1 police, the robber asked the bank teller about opening an account, but passed her a note saying that he and an explosive device strapped to his waist and leg.
The teller passed the man some cash and he ran out of the bank toward the Sixth Street Bridge.
