Too Early For Alvarez Criticism

Pittsburgh (KDKA)- The popular opinion of Pirate fans seems to be to send third baseman Pedro Alvarez back to the minors. I'll show you why that talk is crazy.

Do fans realize the team has only played 28 games? Relax.

I realize Alvarez is struggling but sending him to the minors isn't the answer.

First of all, who are you going to replace him with Steve Pearce? Brandon Wood?

Second, where are the Pirates going?

I wonder if any talk show or fans in these other cities are bringing up sending these players to the minors? Doubt it....
