Steelers Cornerback Curtis Brown Talks Draft, NFL Opportunity

PITTSBURGH (Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN) -- Pittsburgh Steelers 3rd round draft choice Curtis Brown, Cornerback out of Texas joined Seibel, Starkey and Miller on Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN to talk about how playing in the Big 12 and going against other elite talent helped prepare him for a career in the NFL.

During Curtis' time at Texas, he gave up the touchdown to then Texas Tech Wide Receiver Michael Crabtree two years ago that was all over every highlight reel, and told us about bouncing back from that play, not giving up another touchdown in his college career, and actually picking off a pass the next time Texas played Texas Tech.

Like every other NFL rookie, Curtis will have to sit back and wait for the lockout to be lifted before he can join the team to workout, and he told us what he'll be doing in the mean time to get ready for his first season as a pro.

Curtis also told us about his willingness to get out there on special teams and do anything he can to get onto the field as soon as possible.
