City Council Honors Late KDKA Radio Host

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Pittsburgh City Council passed a proclamation Tuesday to remembering late KDKA Radio host John Cigna.

Cigna died on May 20 at the age of 75.

Several members of his family were on hand for the proclamation which declared, "We have lost a great Pittsburgher."

Cigna spent more than 30 years with KDKA Radio. Of them,18 were spent on the morning drive.

He retired in 2001.
