Pirates Pursuing Harold Ramirez?
Pittsburgh (KDKA)- Last year it was Luis Heredia, this year will it be Harold Ramirez?
Pirate fans want to know if the team will be active in the international market. Baseball America believes that they might be.
Ben Badler of Baseball America is saying that the Pirates could be a match for Ramirez.
Badler says that Ramirez is a guy who could command a $1 million signing bonus and that the Pirates are the team most closely linked to him.
Ramirez (5-11, 175 lbs) is 16 years old outfielder from Columbia.
Paying that type of money to get Ramirez wouldn't be a surprise considering the Pirates spent the 4th most in the international market last year ($2.6 million went to Heredia).
