Man, 60, Injured In Hampton Twp. Crash

HAMPTON TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – One man was injured in an early Wednesday morning accident in Hampton Township.

According to officials at the scene, the crash happened on Duncan Avenue around 1:30 a.m.

The 60-year-old driver claims another vehicle, traveling the opposite direction, came into his lane. As a result, he swerved to avoid the oncoming car.

The resulting crash caused his Chevrolet Cavalier to roll over. Police have not been able to confirm his story at this time.

He was not wearing a seatbelt and was flown to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

The driver was alert when emergency crews arrived at the scene.
