Man Dies After Shooting In Lawrenceville Overnight

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Authorities continue to investigate after a man was shot and killed overnight in Lawrenceville.

Pittsburgh police have identified the victim as 34-year-old Sean Thompson.

According to police, Thompson was found lying on the sidewalk in the 5200-block of Keystone Street around 1:30 a.m. with a gunshot wound.

Authorities say paramedics treated him at the scene, and then took him to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. He was pronounced dead there just before 2 a.m.

Police say so far no motive or suspects have been identified in the case.
