Report: NFL Free Agency To Start Today

Pittsburgh (KDKA)- The league's timeline to kick off free agency and training camps has been adjusted, according to ESPN.com.

The expected NFL free-agent frenzy may begin as soon as Monday afternoon if the NFL Players Association signs off on a timeline being discussed.

Here's the proposed NFL Calender:
* Monday: Teams can sign their own free agents and begin talking with other unrestricted free agents. Teams can also begin talking trades. Any trades would become official Saturday.

*Tuesday: Teams can begin signing unrestricted free agents at noon ET but those contracts would not take effect until next Tuesday.

*NFL clubs would be able to start signing 2011 draft picks and rookie free agents on Tuesday.

*The training camp report dates would be back-timed to 14 days before teams play their first preseason games.

*The NFL Network is reporting that the Steelers would report to training camp on Thursday.
