Top Point Guard Commits To Pitt
Pittsburgh (KDKA)- Jamie Dixon's success on the recruiting trails continued today when he received a commitment from one of the top point guards in the country.
Hyattsville (Md.) Dematha's James Robinson became the newest addition to Pitt's Class of 2012.
Robinson (6-3, 195 lbs) is rated the 8th best point guard in the 56th best player in the country.
Aside from Pitt, Robinson's finalists were Notre Dame and Virginia.
The 4-star guard also had offers from Georgetown, Marquette, Oklahoma, Wake Forst and West Virginia.
Robinson joins 4-star center Steven Adams in the Panthers Class of 2012. Adams is likely to be moved up to a 5-star recruit when new rankings are released next week.
