Pittsburgh (KDKA)- Todd Graham and the Pitt Panthers received their 13th verbal commitment for the Class of 2012.

Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward defensive end Darryl Render has decided he wants to play for the Panthers.

Render committed to Pitt over offers from Cincinnati, Connecticut, Iowa, Louisville, Syracuse, Vanderbilt, West Virginia.

Render (6-3, 250 lbs.) will play defensive end next season for Pitt.

Last season, Render had 78 tackles and nine sacks for St. Edwards.
