MORRIS TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – A man’s shooting death in Washington County is being investigated as a homicide.

According to State Police, the man was found dead at a home in the 200-block of Elwood Day Road in Morris Township.

Initially, emergency officials contacted police about a possible suicide. However, when troopers arrived at the scene, they found the man had suffered a single gunshot wound to the head.

The victim has been identified as 43-year-old James Durbin.

Neighbors did not know the man very well, but believed he lived at the home with his wife.
