Homeland Security Official Talks About Ground Zero Response

PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) - Rob talked to Dan Ibbs from DMORT-WMD which is a part dept of Homeland Security Saturday morning.

Part of Ibb's job was to go in and ID the deceased.  Dan was at Ground Zero to help with the process.

He told Rob that the pictures of Sept. 11 can't even tell  what he saw.

Ibbs also told us that of all the people that died that day only 60 percent were positively Identified.

Dan Onorato also stopped by to tell us about what Pittsburgh was like on that day and how it was handled.
