PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police are looking for a man who allegedly robbed a bank at the Waterworks Mall.

According to emergency dispatchers, the robbery happened at the Citizens Bank in the Giant Eagle at the mall around 2:30 p.m. Monday.

He handed the teller a note demanding money. The man then changed his clothes at Chili’s Restaurant and then ran off.

Tawnya Wygonik, of New Kensington, saw the commotion.

“About six or seven police officer standing around their cars talking – and that’s all I [saw],” she said.

The robber is described as a white male standing about 5-feet-9-inches tall with a grey hooded-sweatshirt.

He was also wearing a baseball cap and it is unknown if he was armed at this time.
