Pens Pose For Charitable Calendar

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Several Penguins posed with pets for a good cause Monday afternoon.

The photographs will be used in the "Penguins and Paws" calendar which benefits the Animal Rescue League.

"Any time you can have an effect out in the community and hopefully find a home for these dogs and animals by raising some money and awareness, it's definitely a good thing to do," Richard Park said.

Tough guy, Steve MacIntyre, also took part.

"Part of what we do is help raise awareness for these critters and hopefully find homes," he said. "It's a tremendous opportunity."

The calendars will go on sale in late November or early December – just in time for the holiday season and New Year.
