4-1-Zoo: Pitt Basketball Grabs Guard Commit For 2012
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) -- Jamie Dixon and the Pitt basketball program received its third commit for 2012, as shooting guard Chris Jones from Teaneck, N.J. gave a verbal commitment late Monday night.
Jones is a 6-foot-5 shooting guard, who joins center Steven Adams and point guard James Robinson in the Panthers' 2012 recruiting class.
With the departure of Khem Birch after just 10 games this season, a scholarship became available to Dixon, which allowed Jones to receive an offer.
