Authorities Release New Surveillance Photos In CVS Robbery

GREENSBURG (KDKA) -- State police have released new surveillance photos as the search continues for the suspect in an armed robbery at a pharmacy in Westmoreland County last month.

The robbery happened on the morning of March 22 at the CVS in Latrobe. Authorities say the suspect got away with OxyContin pills.

A surveillance video shows the suspect walk up to the pharmacy window, and then lunge at the technician with a gun. According to state police, he also had his own bag.

The technician got the store's OxyContin from the pharmacist, which police described as a significant amount. Authorities say the suspect then walked out a rear fire exit with the pills.

Police say OxyContin is a powerful painkiller with a high street value.

Police described the suspect as a white man about six-feet-tall with a husky build.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact State Police in Greensburg.
