Motorcyclist Killed In Lawrence Co. Crash Overnight

WAYNE TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- A local man is dead following an overnight motorcycle crash in Lawrence County.

State police in New Castle identify the victim as 55-year-old Randall Hall of Fombell, Pa. His 2004 Harley Davidson was severely damaged in the crash.

The accident happened at 3 a.m. along Route 65 near Panella Way in Wayne Township.

According to state police, Hall was headed northbound on Route 65 when he missed a lefthand curve in the road, traveled onto the east berm, hit a guiderail and lost control of his motorcycle.

Officials say the victim was thrown from the motorcycle and found along the roadway. He died at the scene.

The motorcycle ended up in a grassy area along the side of the road.
