Utility Pole Falls Onto Cars On North Side

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A utility pole fell onto some vehicles along a street on Pittsburgh's North Side overnight.

The incident happened around 2 a.m. in the 800-block of Rothpletz Street.

Some of the power lines were live when police arrived on the scene; so, they had to shut down the street.

Duquesne Light crews were called in to remove the pole.

No injuries were reported.

Four people were without power this morning, but it is expected to be back up and running by noon.
