1 Injured In Ambridge Industrial Accident
AMBRIDGE (KDKA) — At least one person was hurt in an industrial accident in Ambridge Tuesday night.
The incident happened at Koppel Steel in the 2100-block of Duss Avenue just before 10 p.m.
Crews were loading a steel coil onto a flatbed truck when it became unstable and either rolled or fell and pinned the victim.
Other workers called EMS and attempted to extricate the victim. Once emergency officials arrived at the scene, the man was flown to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
His identity and condition have not been released at this time.
