MCKEESPORT (KDKA) – Firefighters were called to the scene of two house fires in McKeesport Friday night.

According to officials,  two unoccupied homes on East Street went up in flames around 10:30 p.m.

Both homes were fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived and they initially had trouble getting water on the fires.

Tanker trucks were brought in because of low pressure.

“Both of them did have utilities to it so we’ll turn it over to the Allegheny County Fire Marshals,” McKeesport Fire Chief Kevin Lust said. “Both of the buildings were fully involved. When we did get here, we had trouble with water pressure at first.”

There are no reported injuries at this time.
