Police Seek Help Locating Crafton Heights Shooting Suspect

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Pittsburgh Police are seeking the public's help to locate a man wanted in connection with a series of shootings in recent weeks.

According to police, 27-year-old Deron Taylor has allegedly shot three people and threatened others in the Crafton Heights neighborhood.

The first incident happened on April 19. A man was shot during a robbery in the 1500-block of Crucible Street.

On May 23, Taylor allegedly kicked in a door and shot a man in the chest. He also allegedly tried to shoot a 15-year-old girl, but injured another female in the shooting.

Police also believe he is putting the residents of the Mountain-View Apartments in fear.

Taylor is believed to be armed and dangerous and anyone with information is asked to call either 911 or Zone 6 detectives at (412)-937-3051.
