Driver Pulls Woman's Hair During Road Rage Incident

SCOTT TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- One woman accuses another woman of cutting her off in traffic and then tailgating her in Scott Township.

From there, police say things got ugly.

Rose Clark told KDKA's Brenda Waters she was sitting at a stop light at the intersection of Washington Pike and Raceway Plaza Drive.

This happened around 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

Clark says the woman in the car directly in front of her jumped out of her car and began screaming at her that she ran a stop sign.

Police have identified that woman as 69-year-old Sandra Ross of Crafton.

Clark says Ross poked her head inside her car and pulled her hair so hard some of it came out.

When other motorists began yelling at Ross to stop – many of them calling 911 – Ross left the scene.

Clark says she followed her to a nearby gas station where she blocked her in until police arrived.

Ross was cited for disorderly conduct and harassment. She will receive a summons in the mail.

Both women will be notified by mail about a court date.
