PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The debate over whether to take down a statue of Joe Paterno took another twist on Friday.Mom Wanted On Child Endangerment Charges After Toddler Wanders Away In Braddock
The reports said the Board of Trustees voted on a conference call Thursday night to remove the statue this weekend.
However, Dave LaTorre, a Penn State spokesman, has told KDKA-TV he doesn’t know of any such decision.

All week, a plane has been flying over Beaver Stadium with a banner that reads, ‘Take the statue down or we will.’
In response, some students have started a vigil to keep watch over the statue.
