Steelers WR Emmanuel Sanders On Mike Wallace: He Wants To Be Out Here

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) Steelers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders joined The Fan Morning Show live at training camp in Latrobe on Wednesday to talk about his preparation for the season and the offense's progression under new coordinator Todd Haley.

He acknowledged that it's disappointing to have the Young Money Family broken up for the time being due to Mike Wallace holding out.

"Right now we miss it. I wish we could hurry up and get him signed. We still text every now and then, and he tells us that he wants to be out here with us," Sanders said.

Sanders didn't see the other key receiver in that crew, Antonio Brown, letting a recent contract extension get to his head.

"Antonio is one of those guys who came from nothing and became something. I think he's going to stay true to that. So far, so good, and I don't see that changing at all," Sanders said.

As for Todd Haley, Sanders said the new coordinator has acknowledged he can get hard on players as he works to improve them, but Sanders said he hasn't seen any signs of the uncontrollable temper some have accused Haley of exhibiting.

"I haven't seen it at all. I haven't seen it one time. Todd is a very laid back coach," Sanders said.
