Parents Interviewed After Baby's Death In Butler Co.
BUTLER (KDKA) -- Police are investigating the death of a baby boy found at a motel in Butler Township.
The baby's body and his parents were found at the Super 8 Motel along Route 8, according to police.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office is trying to determine how the boy died. Autopsy results were still pending Saturday afternoon.
An alert had to gone out to officers to be on the lookout for the couple after a note was found by a maid at the Avalon Motel in Allegheny County.
The alert indicated that the couple might harm themselves after their baby died overnight.
Police wouldn't say what led them to the Super 8 Motel.
Police say the parents were being interviewed and detectives were getting a search warrant to examine the motel room.
