ALLISON PARK (KDKA) – Police are looking for a suspect in a bank robbery in the North Hills.

The robbery happened just after 9 a.m. Thursday at the First National Bank on Duncan Avenue in Allison Park.

McCandless Police say the suspect, described as a black male in his 40’s, passed a teller a note demanding cash and claimed to have a gun.

No one saw a weapon.

After getting the money, the suspect ran behind the bank, down an embankment, and jumped into his red getaway vehicle.

Someone else was behind the wheel and they drove off on Ringeisen Road in the direction of Sample Road.
