As we prepare for Week 8 of the WPIAL football season, we continue with our newest feature of our website, The "Mr. High School Sports" Podcast. It's a look back at the highlights of the previous weekend, and a look ahead at things to come in high school football.
Thirty-four of 64 total playoff spots already have been secured, so in this week's edition, we review the postseason clinchings and scenarios entering the penultimate week of the regular season, and we look back at another big win for defending Class AA champion Aliquippa.
Plus, as always, we preview the big games in all four classifications, including tonight's pivotal Quad-A Foothills Conference contest between visiting Gateway and Penn-Trafford, which can be heard, beginning at 7:30, on SportsRadio 93.7 The Fan (pre-game coverage starts at 7:00 with the MSA Sports Network):
