New Website Helps Consumers Find Best Products On Market

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - If you like to research before making big purchases, you'll love a website called, "Decide.com."

The site uses millions of expert and user reviews to find the best products on the market.

"Decide.com uses technology to help you know when to buy and what to buy," Decide.com CEO Mike Fridgen said.

Decide.com doesn't take money from advertisers or retailers and claims to be unbiased.

Besides featuring only top rated products, for $4.99 a month the site lets you know the best times to buy and offers a price guarantee up to $200.

"You know that if the price drops from any retailer over the next couple of weeks, we will pay you the difference and so you can sit back, make that purchase with confidence," Fridgen said.

Some local consumers said they found the website to be helpful, but weren't sure they would pay for the price guarantee service.

"It sounds like it is taking a lot of the guesswork out of shopping. I personally don't know a lot about electronics and appliances so if somebody else is doing the research on the features and what makes one better over the other, that would be great," Karen Beer, of the North Side, said.

Decide.com has information on a wide range of products from electronics and appliances to home and garden items.
