Roethlisberger: It's Fun To Be Able To Throw To Anybody

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- No matter what people have been saying about those throwback jerseys, most fans agree the Steelers' play looked pretty today.

It was some lesser known players making some key plays during the game.

Little-used tight end Leonard Pope and fullback Will Johnson caught short touchdown passes from Ben Roethlisberger in an impressive win over the Washington Redskins.

KDKA's Jory Rand reported from Heinz Field Sunday.

All the hype leading up to the game was about Robert Griffin III -- Keenan Lewis said he was hearing it so much, he was hearing it in his dreams.

Well, Lewis and the defense had their way with Griffin today and it was Ben Roethlisberger who had three touchdown passes in a Steelers win, 27-12.

"It's fun having so many weapons and being able to throw to anybody," Steelers Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger said. "Getting Will his first touchdown, I was kind of yelling, 'turn around, you're open.' Getting Pope his -- it's just so much fun having weapons and playing as a whole team."

And now for the first time this season the Steelers have a winning streak put together.

And it's on to New York to take on the Super Bowl champion Giants.
