Latitude 40 Entertainment Complex Promises Fun For All Ages

ROBINSON TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- Latitude 40 is 65,000-feet of fun for all ages.

People who were invited to a VIP Grand Opening on Friday night loved the new all-in-one entertainment complex in Robinson Township.

"It's amazing," said Charlene Wodnicki, of Weirton, W. Va. "It's a lot of fun and I think it's going to be an exciting place for the area."

It's being described as a Dave & Buster's on steroids. There's live entertainment, not one but two bowling alleys, food and drinks, and a really cool game room.

And the kids seemed to be enjoying it, too.

And that's the point, it's entertainment for all ages.

"I just like everything you can do here – bowling, go to the movie theater," said Dan Higgins of Canonsburg. "For the kids, it's good for the kids, too."

This is the second Latitude club. The first opened in Jacksonville, Fla., last year. Two more are opening in Indianapolis and Chicago.

It's the brainchild of Montour High School grad Brent Brown who believes the Robinson Township location will draw people from all over.

"We're going to pull from West Virginia, Ohio," said Brown, the founder and CEO. "We're going to pull from a lot of the business travelers that are coming in and out.

In February, they'll open a movie theater at Latitude 40 and the hope is they'll host many corporate events here.

One more thing, there are 190 new jobs at the club.

The entertainment complex opens to the public Tuesday.
