PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) – Larry Foote says the Steelers were happy to get the win, but overall, called it an “ugly night, and guys just weren’t happy about their performances.”

The Chiefs ran the ball effectively in the first half, which is something that Larry and the defense are not used to allowing. Larry said that it was good to see the defense turn it around and tighten up in the second half and overtime.

As for Ben Roethlisberger’s shoulder injury, Larry says that he knows if Ben could have come back in the game, he would have.

He tells us that the team has a lot of faith in Byron Leftwich and Charlie Batch. Also, the defense will have to step up and help the ailing offense.

Finally, it’s Ravens week. Larry tells us how important this week is to them, trying to slow down a Ravens offense that put up 55 points against Oakland this week.
