Larry Foote's Weekly Steelers Update

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) - Just has he does every Tuesday morning, Steelers linebacker Larry Foote joined the Fan Morning Show to recap the loss to the Ravens on Sunday night, and previews this weekend's game in Cleveland.

Larry was happy with how the defense played, but he tells the guys that they still could have been better. They only gave up six points on defense, but they caused no turnovers.

"We've just got to make plays," Larry said of interceptions. "And come down with the ball."

LaMarr Woodley tweeted on Monday asking fans what they would think about the Steelers signing Donovan McNabb. When asked, Larry said that LaMarr "should shut up and play football."

The Steelers aren't looking at this weekend as a trap game. He says that, "the last couple years, Cleveland played [them] tight."

Larry is familiar with Charlie Batch, as they all are, and they have total confidence in Charlie to carry the load with both Ben Roethlisberger and Byron Leftwich injured.

As for the injuries at wide receiver, Larry says that Plaxico Burress "would look good in any uniform." Burress has been working out with the Steelers and could possibly sign with the team to fill in for Antonio Brown and Jerricho Cotchery.
