Colon Looks To Return To Action With Big Ben

PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) -- Willie Colon has been one of the walking wounded on the Steelers' offensive line, but he likes his chances to stay healthy against the Chargers, and he likes the way things are coming together for his team with the return of Ben Roethlisberger.

"We see what the world sees. He's awesome. He's our leader, he's our field general, he's everything," Colon said. "We need him back around this time...it's December football, and we're trying to clinch a spot."

He was equally impressed with what Pro Bowl center Maurkice Pouncey did in Baltimore, playing guard, in his spot, for the first time since freshman year at Florida:

"That's why he's a Pro-Bowler, because of his ability to do a lot," he said.

Colon talked this week about his own battle to recover from a knee injury that kept him out of both Cleveland and Baltimore:
