Some Unity Twp. Shelter Dogs Still Need Adopted

A Unity Township animal rescue forced to get rid of more than 50 dogs has successfully adopted out 13 of them.

Jeannie Keller who runs the rescue fought to keep all 78 of her rescue animals, but was told last week by the State Supreme Court that she would have to find a way to place a majority of the animals.

Keller says since the story aired on Dec. 21, she's received an outpouring of people who want to help.

But more than 40 of the dogs still need to be rescued or adopted in the next few weeks or they could risk being put down.
