Wintry Mix Causing Icy Conditions

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - A wintry mix of precipitation will gradually change over to all rain today, but be prepared for icy spots to last into mid-morning.

Freezing rain caused side streets to ice up overnight, up to a tenth of an inch of ice was reported in Pittsburgh.

Several schools are operating on 2 hour delays this morning.

South winds are expected to range from the 10-20 mph range today, and that will push the high up to 46 degrees late in the day.

Tonight there will be a few showers in spots. The low is expected to be 44 degrees and remain fairly steady overnight.

The next couple of days will be April like, with a few showers and temperatures in the 60s both days.
