GERMAN TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — State police are looking for a suspect following a robbery Monday at a market in Fayette County.

The incident happened just after 1 p.m. at the Footedale Market in the 200-block of Water Street in German Township.

According to state police, the suspect went directly to the cash register area after walking into the store.

Authorities say the store’s clerk confronted the suspect, but didn’t attempt to stop the robbery.

The suspect was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and a gray, full face mask.

Investigators say the suspect got away in a silver-colored Chevrolet Trailblazer with an undisclosed amount of money.
