Hotel Bust Nets Detectives 26,000 Bags Of Heroin
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Deputies say they have arrested two people at a Pittsburgh hotel, with 26-thousand bags of heroin.
Sheriff's deputies were assisted by the Pittsburgh police in making the bust at the Comfort Inn along Steubenville Pike.
Deputies say they arrested 35-year-old Santino Drew, and 34-year-old Thomas Martinez at the hotel.
Inside their room deputies say they found approximately 26,000 stamp bags of heroin, which was broken into 520 bricks of heroin.
The drugs are valued at approximately $400,000.
Both of the men are charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, criminal conspiracy, and possession of a controlled substance.
Deputies say both men are from, Brunswick New Jersey.
